About Office20

Where English and Japanese meet with clarity, care, and purpose.

Office20 was founded by a Japanese professional with deep, firsthand experience in U.S.–Japan business and communication environments. With a background spanning legal studies, bilingual documentation management, and cross-cultural workplace experience, our founder saw a consistent gap — not in language itself, but in the understanding that surrounds it.

Too often, people navigating between Japan and the United States face moments where a direct translation simply isn’t enough. A word can be correct and still be misunderstood. A document can be accurate and still feel foreign. Office20 was created to bridge exactly that space.

What Makes Office20 Different

Lived Experience

Every service is grounded in real professional and lived experience — the kind that only comes from working, studying, and building relationships across both cultures.

Personal Approach

Our approach is thoughtful, structured, and personal. We take the time to understand your situation before offering guidance, because no two cases are exactly alike.

Both Sides of the Bridge

We understand both U.S. and Japanese professional cultures from the inside — not as an outside observer. That dual perspective is what allows us to bridge gaps that others miss.

Our Mission

To help individuals and organizations communicate with confidence — across languages, across cultures, and across the moments that matter most.

Whether you’re a Japanese professional preparing to work in the U.S., a company navigating a bilingual team, or an individual planning a new chapter abroad — Office20 is here to support you every step of the way.

About the Founder

Office20 is led by a Japanese bilingual professional based in the United States and an FAA-certificated Part 107 remote pilot.

Drawing on firsthand experience with U.S.–Japan business, regulatory and administrative documents, cross-cultural communication, education, and U.S. certification processes, the founder helps clients navigate challenges that cannot be solved through translation alone.

The founder’s work includes practical, primary-source-based guidance for people pursuing U.S. certifications and navigating related requirements. Office20’s analysis of recent FAA Part 107 test changes has also been published by The Drone Girl.

Having personally navigated work, daily life, and cultural differences in the United States, the founder provides thoughtful guidance tailored to each client’s circumstances—not one-size-fits-all advice.

Office20 handles consultation details and personal information with care and provides an environment where clients can speak comfortably.
